Vintage 9ct Yellow Gold Five Stone Half Hoop Moonstone Ring London 1973
Stunningly pretty this vintage half hoop five stone Ceylon Moonstone ring is impressive on the finger.
Crafted in London in 1973 (49 years old) from 9ct yellow gold and hallmarked fully with UK hallmarks as such.
Very much in the antique style with a carved scrolled gallery, tradition graduated half hoop fashion at first glance, and touch, this beautifully made ring could be mistaken for an antique… the quality is as good if not perhaps even better.
Set with five graduated glorious clear oval Moonstones cabochons which are each very securely claw set, to the then lovely carved ornate gallery and shoulders to a nice thick half round shank.
Each Moonstone is clear, luminous, showing absolutely no wear nor dulling to their surfaces and display a typical and mystical Schiller / adularescence which is stunning.
With a commanding presence on the finger she measures a full 2.1cm spread east to west, this one cannot be missed.
Pretty, or should we say stunning, from ever angle this is a collectors dream!

Very good to excellent vintage condition. Moonstones are perfect, no dulling, no chips, no wear. Claws are very sturdy and secure. Gallery is lovely. No thinning to shank, hallmarks crisp and clear. Stunning and impressive ring.
