Such a wonderful and rare antique Australian piece by renowned jeweller firm Willis and Sons and hallmarked as such.
Larger than similar brooches of this kind at an impressive 8cm in length, the butterfly alone measures 2.8cm x 2.3cm, once pinned to your favourite shirt from or jacket lapel this piece is strikingly impressive!
Crafted from 15ct yellow gold and set with an array of natural small half seed Pearls and weighs a substantial 8.3 grams.
One of the prettiest pieces we have seen by Willis and Sons, highly collectible given not only the Australian manufacture but the subject matter, we know this will be a collectors dream …!

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. Original pin (non gold) and C clasp to verso. Pearls appear original, under loupe magnification 2 may have been re-glued, very secure. Stunningly good Australian collectible piece of jewellery.
