Modernist ring designed by Henning Koppel (1918-1981) for Georg Jensen and stamped with 20th century, post 1945, marks for Georg Jensen, Denmark 925S.

On a personal note we have not had a Georg Jensen ring on our fingers that wasn’t superbly comfortable and this ring is no exception.

Streamlined, chic and ultra modern in design and most importantly designed for finger hugging comfort.

One of our favourite styles by Jensen given the understated sophistication, this ring is suitable for everyday wear!

HENNING KOPPEL (1918 - 1981)

Henning Koppel was a Danish artist and designer.  He is most known for his work for Georg Jensen in the years after World War II.  He also designed porcelain (Bing & Grøndahl), glass (Holmegaard) and lamps (Louis Poulsen & Co).

Koppel's early work for Jensen was largely focused on jewellery designs but by the late nineteen forties his work increasingly turned to holloware. His slver holloware is distinguished by its sculptural quality. His work for Jensen also includes flatware
